How do I play?

Open Settings › How to play in the game for illustrated rules and attacks. Practice against the bot is the quickest way to learn. Kid difficulty has no timer and no attacks.

Playing online with a friend

• One player opens Friends, picks Battle or Reversi and taps Create online room.
• Share the room code or link. Your friend can join from the iPhone app or from any web browser.
• If someone's connection drops, the game reconnects them automatically for a short while. If they're gone longer, start a new room.
• Rooms run on our game server and need an internet connection.

Playing nearby (two iPhones, no internet)

• Both phones need the same version of the app, with Wi-Fi turned on.
• Allow Local Network access when asked. If you said no earlier, turn it on in Settings › Battle Tac Toe › Local Network.
• One phone taps Host nearby, and the other taps Find a game. Check that the pairing codes match, then accept on the host phone.
• If the phones can't find each other, connect both to the same Wi-Fi network. It doesn't need internet.

Full Game unlock

• Practice, Kid and playing with friends are free. A one-time purchase unlocks the other solo modes.
• On a new or reset iPhone, open Settings › Restore purchase to unlock again with the same Apple ID.
• Refunds and billing are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Trophies and Game Center

Trophies are saved on your device. To also save them to Game Center, open the Trophy stash and tap Connect Game Center.

Lost progress

Progress is stored only on your device (or in your browser on the website), so deleting the app or clearing browser data removes it. We can't restore it from our side.
